Following the annual World Press Photo contest is the prestigious exhibition, organised by The World Press Photo (non-profit) Foundation to showcase creativity in photojournalism and promote development in the profession to encourage photographers worldwide. Because of the topics of interest that are covered in the winning and participating photographs, this will also attract the curious members of the public who would like to see the priceless moments captured and immortalized by the press. This year, the exhibition opened in Amsterdam, Netherlands and will tour various venues around the globe, in 100 cities and 45 countries altogether.
